Plain files
Entries live in ~/Lullo/entries as ordinary video, image and text files. Back them up, move them, or open them without Lullo.
A private video journal for Mac
Two minutes before bed. Three good questions. A face, a voice, a date. Kept on your computer, nowhere else, for as long as you want.
Free. macOS 12 or later, Apple silicon. Nothing leaves your computer.
One night
One button, one horizon. Lullo opens straight to tonight, with your camera ready.
Questions arrive one at a time, in plain words, and you answer to the camera. No typing, no editing.
The entry is written to a file, transcribed on your Mac, and the night lights up on your calendar.
Yours
Entries live in ~/Lullo/entries as ordinary video, image and text files. Back them up, move them, or open them without Lullo.
Transcripts come from whisper.cpp running on your Mac. Your voice is never sent to a server to be turned into text.
No sign-up, no sync, no feed, no followers. Lullo has nobody to show your night to but you.
Before you download
Lullo does not make you watch yourself while you talk. The preview sits in a quiet circle, the questions do the work, and you only look back when you choose to. Prefer to skip the camera? Your voice alone is enough to keep a night.
Nothing happens. There is no streak to break. The night stays dim on your calendar, and tomorrow starts clean.
Yes. Entries are saved in a folder in your home directory. Lullo has no account system and no cloud sync, and it does not send your recordings anywhere.
Lullo is an early build and is not yet signed with an Apple developer certificate. Drag it to Applications, then right-click it and choose Open the first time. After that it opens normally.
Recording works right away. Transcripts need a one-time local setup of whisper.cpp and a speech model, and Lullo shows the exact commands inside the app. It is optional: without it you keep the video and the date.
Not yet. This first build is for Apple silicon Macs on macOS 12 or later.
Nothing. The download is free.
